Official position of the prosecution

The prosecutor representing the state's interests in the criminal proceedings against SBU General Serhiy Duka provided clarification on the reasons for restricting media representatives' access to the court proceedings. According to him, the court did not consider any motion to hold the hearing in a closed session.

Contradictory versions

Previously, the press service of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) attributed the absence of journalists in the courtroom to a lack of available seats. However, the prosecutor effectively refuted this version, stating that the hearing was moved to a room with even more seats than the previous one.
