Expressing his views, Budanov noted that he does not expect a breakthrough in the negotiation process during this specific meeting. At the same time, he emphasised that the fact of holding the talks should already be regarded as a positive step and progress.

According to the Head of the Presidential Office, the parties intend to discuss the possibility of bringing their positions closer together. He added that, in his belief, the current meeting will not be the final one in the series of contacts.
