Large-scale air raid alert in Volyn

On the night of 16 October, the Russian armed forces carried out a massive attack on Volyn Oblast, deploying approximately 20 jet-powered strike drones. This was reported by the head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Roman Romanyuk.

As a result of the strikes, critical and civilian infrastructure facilities sustained damage. As of 8:00 am on 16 October, 370,000 subscribers remained without electricity. Emergency repair work is currently underway to stabilise the situation.

Consequences of strikes in Lutsk

Acting Mayor of Lutsk, Andriy Razumovskyi, reported that the enemy struck the regional centre. The city completely lost its power supply, so municipal services have been switched to backup power sources.

In addition, an enterprise with foreign investment was damaged in Lutsk as a result of the attack.

Situation in Manevychi and condition of people

In the city of Manevychi, a private enterprise was damaged by a strike. According to available information, two people were injured. There is currently no information on the whereabouts of five other individuals.
