Repeated strike on energy infrastructure

On the night of 31 October, Russian forces carried out a repeated attack on the energy facilities of the DTEK company located in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The company reported that as a result of the enemy shelling, equipment at two facilities of DTEK Dnipro Power Grids sustained serious damage.

Difficult restoration situation

One of the damaged facilities was the same site where energy workers had been working for almost two days in a row to restore operations following the previous strike. This has significantly complicated the situation and delayed the full restoration of electricity supply.

Grid status and crew operations

Currently, a significant portion of residents in Dnipro and Kamianske, as well as inhabitants of Dniprovskyi and Novomoskovskyi districts, remain without electricity. Energy workers from across the oblast continue operations on the damaged sections, acting within the limits of the security situation.

DTEK emphasises that it is doing everything possible to restore power to consumers as quickly as possible.
