Dmitry Medvedev, who holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, expressed his opinion on the current political course of Armenia. According to him, the direction chosen by the current leadership of the republic will not have positive consequences.
Warning about possible consequences
In his comment, Medvedev emphasised that the most dangerous development of events for Armenia would be the country's transformation into a "second Ukraine". This phrase became the key element of his warning regarding the direction chosen by Yerevan.
The position of the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council is based on the conviction that the current decisions of the Armenian authorities are leading to a situation similar to that which arose in Ukraine.
