Not long ago, our website published an article about the sanctions imposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy against Moldovan businessman and husband of Russian singer Jasmine, Ilan Shor, and his companies. The article concerned the financial intermediaries of the A7 network.
The article briefly mentioned the financial company WooshPay. According to foreign media, A7 used complex international schemes to bypass sanctions. The financial company Wooshpay appears in payment documents. One of A7's transfers was made through it and disguised as an invoice for fabric for the production of cashmere items.

Over the past few days, our publication has received letters in English demanding the complete removal of the article or at least the mentions of the company, on the grounds that the text of the article in the original source had already been altered four times.
When WooshPay failed to secure the removal, a Ukrainian-speaking representative of the company unexpectedly contacted us. The interlocutor repeatedly changed tactics, moving from demands to persuasion, and eventually to psychological pressure and blackmail.
During the dialogue, the "difficult living conditions in Ukraine" were repeatedly mentioned, along with threats to fire the Ukrainian team of the WooshPay project if the removal of the material or part of it was refused.
Overall, the impression is that behind the correspondence is not a Ukrainian, but a representative of the aggressor state, who is trying to scrub the internet of mentions of cooperation between Wooshpay and the sanctioned businessman and his company.
