Ukrainian General Staff: 173 combat engagements and 1,670 Russian losses in 24 hours

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published its daily combat report, covering events on the 1,711th day of the full-scale invasion. Over the past 24 hours, 173 instances of combat engagements were recorded along the front line.

According to Ukrainian estimates, total losses of Russian invaders over the entire day amounted to 1,670 personnel. In addition, Defence Forces units neutralised three armoured fighting vehicles, 19 artillery systems, one multiple rocket launcher system, two air defence assets, six ground robotic complexes, 1,663 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 206 units of enemy motor vehicle equipment.

Enemy air and missile strikes

During the day, the enemy carried out three missile and 75 air strikes. During the air strikes, Russians dropped 255 guided aerial bombs. The use of 9,189 suicide drones and 3,104 shelling incidents targeting populated areas and Ukrainian military positions was also recorded, of which 15 were carried out using multiple rocket launcher systems.

Numerous populated areas came under enemy fire. Among them: Havrylova Sloboda, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Sopych, Korenyok, Ulanove, Brusky, Shalyhine, Vovnivka, Kozache, Bezsalivka, Iskrivshchyna, Volfyne, Pavlivka, Topolia, Malushyne, Mala Korchakivka, Yastrubine, Rohizne, Kynndratyvka, Khotin, Nova Sich, Pysharivka, Yunakivka, Korovne, Luzhky, Kharapivshchyna, Velyka Rybytsia, Myropillia, and Neskyuchne (Sumy region); Khrynivka, Huta-Studenetska, Berezovyi Hai, Kostobobriv, Mykhalchyna Sloboda (Chernihiv region). Synne, Osyivka, and Marchenky came under air strikes.

Accordingly, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces hit one enemy command post and three command posts for its unmanned aerial vehicles.

Dynamics on main axes

On the North-Slobodian and Kursk axes, the aggressor carried out three assault operations, delivered four air strikes (using 10 guided aerial bombs), and conducted 169 shelling incidents.

On the South-Slobodian axis, Ukrainian units repelled nine enemy attacks towards the populated areas of Ternova, Mala Vovcha, and Radkivka, as well as in the areas of Vovchansky Khutory, Okhrimivka, Shevyakivka, and Putnikove.

On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy did not attempt to improve its tactical position. Instead, on the Lyman axis, Ukrainian defence repelled attempts to wedge in: occupiers carried out nine attacks towards Druzhelubivka and in the area of Nadia, Myrnoye, Zarychne, Lyman, and Dibrova.

On the Sloviansk axis, two enemy attacks were recorded towards Pyshkunivka. No assault operations were conducted on the Kramatorsk and Oleksandrivka axes.

Active operations in the east and south

On the Kostiantynivka axis, 20 enemy attacks were recorded, with the enemy conducting offensive operations in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Sofiivka, Vilne, as well as towards Mykolaipillia and Zolotyi Kolodyaz.

On the Pokrovsk axis, the enemy carried out 14 attacks, attempting to advance near Novyi Donbas, Bilitske, Krasnopodillia, Dobropillia, Molodetske, and towards Serhiivka.

On the Hulyaipole axis, occupiers attacked defenders' positions nine times, attempting to advance towards Yehorivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Kosivtseve, as well as near Verkhnia Tersa, Hirke, and Bilohiria. On the Orikhiv axis, three attacks were recorded near Mala Tokmachka.

No assault operations were carried out on the Dnipro axis. No signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.
