The Nadiya Youth Initiative Charity Foundation, together with Oleg Krot and Valeriy Dubil, carried out the 457th humanitarian mission. The primary focus was equipping military units and medical facilities in the Kharkiv region with necessary equipment. Special attention was paid to wounded defenders, who were provided with electric scooters and offered participation in a free prosthetics programme.

Mobility aids for the wounded

In collaboration with the Christian Corps, the foundation continues to implement the "Scooters for Heroes" project. In total, more than 300 electric scooters have been delivered under this initiative, significantly easing mobility for servicemen with disabilities.

During the current trip, such transport means were received by Kharkiv military hospitals, where wounded fighters are undergoing treatment, as well as by fighters of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment.

Prosthetics programme at MCOP Ukraine

Particular emphasis was placed on supporting defenders who have lost limbs. Military personnel receiving treatment at healthcare facilities in Kharkiv were offered free prosthetics at MCOP Ukraine.

The initiative involves the manufacture of individual prostheses and their subsequent adaptation. The first participants in the programme were veterans from Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, who are already undergoing prosthetic fitting.

Technical support for units

In addition to assisting the wounded, the mission included the supply of equipment for combat units. The military received charging stations, Starlink terminals, and drone detectors.

The equipment was handed over to the following formations:

  • 81st Airborne Brigade;
  • 3rd Assault Brigade;
  • 50th Mechanized Brigade;
  • Yevhen Pikus Border Detachment.

The Battalion Volunteer Charity Foundation is also involved in organising such missions, coordinating actions with the Nadiya Foundation and other partners to meet the needs of defenders.

Coordination of actions

This trip was a logical continuation of the agreements reached on 9 October in Kyiv. At that time, the first Christian Corps Coordination Meeting took place, where representatives of the Nadiya Foundation leadership, military commanders, volunteers, and representatives of combat units determined the next steps for collecting necessary aid and organising its delivery to the front line.

Previously, the 430th humanitarian mission was reported, during which charging stations, Starlink terminals, and drone detectors were also handed over to troops on the Pokrovsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, while defenders with amputations received electric scooters.
