In the US, men have started spending more on Botox than women

The average spending by men in the US per visit to a cosmetic specialist reached $529. This is the highest figure in nearly five years of observations.

There is no separate markup for men: the cost of the drug is the same for everyone. However, due to larger muscle volume and strength, men are usually injected with 10–15% more Botox.

The format of visiting cosmetic clinics has also changed. Men are increasingly coming for procedures in groups of colleagues. Some companies even organise such visits instead of traditional corporate events.

One of the factors driving the increase in demand is competition in the labour market. Men strive to look younger during job interviews and interactions with management. Interest in procedures is also supported by cosmetic specialists who publish videos and photos of transformation results on social media.
