The head of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Abbas Araghchi, released information regarding a series of diplomatic contacts.

According to the Iranian diplomat, over the past 48 hours, he made 12 phone calls, speaking with counterparts from other states. Each of these conversations concerned regional events.

Objective of the talks

The main subject of discussion during these contacts was the current events in the region and the search for ways to prevent further escalation. Araghchi emphasised that these actions are aimed at stopping the intensification of the situation.
