The Security Service of Ukraine has detained an employee of one of the city's municipal utility companies in Dnipro for receiving a bribe.

The man was extorting $8,000 for the registration of property rights to housing. He was detained while receiving an improper benefit of $2,500.

A criminal case has been opened, and an investigation is underway. A decision on the preventive measure for the bribe-taker is currently being made.
