Ukrainian drones attack oil refinery in Russia

On the night of 8 February, several drones carried out a series of attacks on facilities in four Russian regions. In two of them, the targets were oil refineries and pumping stations. This information appeared in Russian Telegram channels.

Specifically, in Rostov Oblast, in the suburb of Chortkovo, a drone attacked an oil pumping station. Preliminary data indicates that the strike damaged the enterprise's administrative and utility buildings. Six employees were evacuated, and emergency services promptly arrived at the scene.

In addition, another attack occurred in Volgograd Oblast, in the Kumylzhensky district, where a drone targeted an oil distillation station. According to information published in Telegram channels, no fire broke out due to falling debris, and residential buildings were not damaged. There were also no reports of casualties.

Meanwhile, powerful explosions occurred in Krasnodar Krai, in Slavyansk-na-Kubani, and in Rostov-on-Don, which also caused concern among local residents and attracted the attention of emergency services. Details of the incidents are still emerging.
