Did Viktor Yanukovych Have a Heart Attack?

Today in Crimea, the son of Ukraine's fugitive president, Viktor Yanukovych Jr., was secretly and hastily buried. He drowned in Lake Baikal on March 20. Some Russian media outlets have now published information suggesting that the former president himself suffered a heart attack.

According to these publications, Viktor Yanukovych, devastated by grief, could not withstand the death and funeral of his younger son, and his heart failed.

This is not the first report of a heart attack involving the former Ukrainian president; similar rumours circulated a year ago, but they were not confirmed at the time. 

At present, there is no official confirmation that Viktor Yanukovych has suffered a heart attack.

It is worth recalling that just over a year ago, one of the mothers of the men killed on the Maidan, in a moment of anguish, cursed those responsible for her son's death and wished them to experience the death and funeral of their own children. Her words proved prophetic.
