Terrorist who held three people hostage killed
Several hours ago, a hostage-taking incident occurred in Kharkiv Oblast. The terrorist not only shot two people who were attempting to inventory his property but also took three gas station employees hostage at gunpoint.
The man demanded to be allowed to go to the ATO zone and promised to release the hostages only on these terms. According to information from Anton Gerashchenko, the terrorist has been killed.

Другого пути, чтоб избежать жертв среди заложников, по мнению лиц, ответственных за операцию, не было. Мужчина был на грани психологического срыва (по мнению переговорщиков) и мог своими действиями привести к гибели заложников. (In the opinion of those responsible for the operation, there was no other way to avoid casualties among the hostages. The man was on the verge of a psychological breakdown (according to the negotiators) and his actions could have led to the deaths of the hostages.)
Все трое заложников - одна женщина и двое мужчин, работники АЗС OKKO, освобождены без травм и ранений. После пережитого им будет оказана психологическая помощь. (All three hostages – one woman and two men, employees of the OKKO gas station – were released without injuries or wounds. They will be provided with psychological assistance after the ordeal.)
Все это стало итогом истории, начавшейся в 2011 году, когда родные стрелка взяли кредит в 21 000 долларов у частного лица, под кабальные проценты, штрафы и пени.

According to eyewitnesses, the fatal shot was fired through the side window of the car.
