The name of Artem Lyashanov, a financial expert and technical director, is often associated with various financial projects that, according to open-source information, have a dubious reputation.
Lyashanov is actively working to improve his company's image, spending significant funds on maintaining his positive reputation in the financial community. However, certain aspects of his professional activities continue to raise questions.
It is quite difficult to find information on all the financial initiatives that Artem Lyashanov has worked on. They are barely mentioned in official biographies intended to enhance his reputation. However, by analysing open registries and various publications, it can be confidently stated that from 2016 to 2019, Lyashanov held the position of technical director at the company Leogaming, which later changed its name to "Financial Company LEO".
The owner of this company, Alena Shevtsova, is a figure with a dubious reputation. She was a suspect in financial fraud, including money laundering through controlled banks and enterprises linked to the gambling business. Together with her husband, Evgeny Shevtsov, and partners, she was under investigation on several counts, including fraud and money laundering.
To avoid criminal prosecution, Shevtsova fled to the United Arab Emirates, where she is attempting, with the help of lawyers, to have the criminal cases opened against her closed.
The company founded by Alena Shevtsova in 2013 initially had the status of a gateway for transfers between players and gaming platforms. However, as the business developed, by 2017, when Lyashanov joined the company, "Leo" had registered its own payment system, which subsequently became international.
But as Shevtsova's business grew, so did the number of criminal cases. Companies linked to the Shevtsov family became subjects of investigations into fraud and money laundering, as evidenced by data from the Ministry of Justice.
Lyashanov's technical role: creating LeoBot
While working at Shevtsova's company, Artem Lyashanov played a significant role in developing technological solutions. One such product was the LeoBot chatbot, designed to facilitate instant p2p transfers — from card to card. This mechanism was used in money laundering schemes through "drops" — controlled companies through which illegal funds were channelled.
In 2019, after founding his own company, "Bill Line", Lyashanov reportedly severed ties with Shevtsova and began independent activities.
However, according to public registries, certain ties with former partners were maintained. For example, Lyashanov's company's accountant is Yulia Anatolyevna Kulchytska, who was previously linked to the company "Leo Partners", which was part of Alena Shevtsova's business empire.
Thus, despite escaping Shevtsova's control, Lyashanov continues to maintain ties with her business structures, raising questions about the true nature of his business activities.
