The Ukrainian retail chain EVA has almost returned to its pre-war level in terms of the number of stores. Despite significant losses caused by the war, the company continues to expand and grow its financial performance.
With the start of the full-scale invasion, EVA lost more than 15% of its stores – some ended up in occupied territories, while others closed due to their proximity to the combat zone. However, in 2024, the company managed to open 65 new stores, mainly in the «Женская энергия» ("Female Energy") format, focused on comfortable shopping for women. At the same time, 18 stores were closed, of which 10 were in occupied areas, and another 2 in Kherson – due to unprofitability.
The chain's financial performance continues to grow. Over the year, EVA's revenue increased by 28.6%, reaching 27 billion hryvnia compared to 21 billion hryvnia in 2023. This indicates the high adaptability of the business and sustained demand for the company's products even in difficult conditions.
