Sasha Borovic disagrees with pace of reforms

It was revealed yesterday that German lawyer Sasha Borovic is leaving his post as Deputy Minister of Economy.

According to Economy Minister Aivaras Abromavichus, they simply did not get along with Borovic. In response, Sasha Borovic himself stated this morning that he had no personal issues with the minister, only intellectual disputes, which should be encouraged within the ministry. The former deputy minister is convinced that Aivaras has assembled an excellent team.

However, he disagrees with how reforms are being implemented. In Borovic's opinion, reforms should be deeper and introduced faster. Simple deregulation is not the solution.
