Prosecutors seek arrest of husband of Inna Zhuk, who died in car crash

The Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office has filed a motion to detain the husband of well-known blogger Anna Zhuk, who tragically died in a car accident. According to case materials, it was the spouse who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Investigations established that the man made an overtaking manoeuvre on the right, which caused their car to collide with a truck. The impact was so severe that Anna died at the scene. Her son, who was also in the car, sustained serious injuries and was urgently hospitalised in intensive care.

The prosecution insists that the driver's actions led to tragic consequences and is demanding his arrest as a preventive measure.
