People gather outside the Verkhovna Rada against constitutional amendments

Today, in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, deputies are set to vote on amendments to the Constitution concerning the special status of the occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

People are already gathering outside the Rada building, protesting against the rewriting of the country's fundamental document.

The people's representatives themselves have split into two camps: those who will vote “YES” today, and those who are categorically against it.
