Two Ukrainian soldiers released from captivity

Information recently emerged that prisoner exchanges between Ukraine and the so-called LNR and DNR had been halted. Today, the exchange finally moved off the dead spot.

Following negotiations between the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the leadership of the DNR, with the active participation of the Patriots group, two Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were released: N.N. Surmenko of the 93rd Mechanized Brigade and V.V. Mykhalovych of the 51st Mechanized Brigade.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the release of our Ukrainian boys. We hope that all other prisoners will soon return to their families, where their parents, wives and children are waiting for them.
