Valerii Zaluzhnyi's brother switches from military service to diplomacy
Artur Zaluzhnyi, brother of former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, has moved from military service to the diplomatic corps. In 2024, he was appointed an adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Salary and payments
During his year of service at the Ministry of Defence, his official salary amounted to 1,228,357 hryvnias. In addition, during a long-term business trip, he received 3,191,103 hryvnias as compensation.
The state also provided him with financial assistance of 23,000 hryvnias.
Car purchase
In September 2022, presumably while serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Artur Zaluzhnyi purchased a 2017 Volkswagen Atlas. At the time, the SUV cost him 700,000 hryvnias, equivalent to 19,000 US dollars.
During the war, his wife Yulia gave birth to a child and received the corresponding state payments.
