Star of 'The Inhabited Island' makes suicide attempt

Vasily Stepanov, a star of the film 'The Inhabited Island', admitted that he attempted suicide. The actor deliberately jumped out of the window of his fifth-floor apartment, rather than falling accidentally, as had previously been assumed. This is also confirmed by witnesses to the tragedy.

By a stroke of luck, the artist survived. As a result of the fall from such a height, he suffered fractures of the pelvis, shoulder, and heel bones, as well as numerous bruises. However, the actor's spine was not damaged.

Apparently, Vasily was driven to take such a step by his lack of demand in the film industry. Although he had recently received several offers, the actor had to cancel filming due to his injury.
