Strike on strategic missiles in Bryansk region
Over the 24-hour period of 6 November and during the night of 7 November, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine carried out a series of missions to strike critically important targets on Russian territory and temporarily occupied areas. This was reported by the press centre of the General Staff of the UAF.
Particular attention was paid to the Bryansk direction, where two launchers of the Iskander operational-tactical missile systems were knocked out. Although the exact scale of the damage is still being assessed, the significance of this strike is clear: each Iskander launcher disabled reduces the Russian army's ability to deliver ballistic strikes on Ukrainian cities.
In the same area, a Pantsir-S1 air defence system, designed to provide air cover for Russian military objects, came under fire.
Striking logistics and UAV operators
In addition, the Defence Forces struck enemy support infrastructure on other fronts. In Luhansk region, depots of material and technical resources of the Russian occupation forces were hit in the areas of the settlements of Sokolohirsk and Zaiidarivka.
In Zaporizhzhia region, near the village of Novobohdanivka, a concentration point for enemy unmanned aerial vehicle operators was struck.
“Робота по ключових військових цілях противника триватиме, доки росія повністю не припинить збройну агресію проти України”, — наголошують у Генеральному штабі ЗСУ. ("Work on key military targets of the enemy will continue until Russia completely ceases its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff of the UAF emphasises.)
