Zelensky reports consequences of night attack on power plants, substations and coal mines

President details consequences of night strike

Volodymyr Zelensky provided information on the results of the Russian attack that took place last night. The head of state noted that the strikes were directed at energy infrastructure facilities.

Specifically, thermal power plants and electrical substations came under fire. In addition, according to the president, coal mines sustained damage.

List of affected facilities

Aside from the energy sector, Russian forces attacked other structures. The list of damaged facilities included:

• grain storage facilities;
• shopping centres;
• a postal terminal.

According to data provided by Zelensky, the consequences of the strikes were recorded in nine regions of Ukraine.
