Zelensky: Only Trump can resolve issue of expanding Starlink in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasised that the issue of expanding the use of Starlink satellite communications within the country remains open and can be resolved exclusively by the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.

The head of state noted that an active exchange of positions is taking place between Kyiv and Washington, but the direct consent of the White House chief is necessary to resolve a number of specific tasks.

Commenting on the state of affairs, Zelensky highlighted the specifics of the current stage of cooperation:

«На мій погляд, сьогодні така ситуація, коли це питання може вирішити тільки президент Трамп», — заявив він. (In my view, today is a situation where only President Trump can resolve this issue, he stated.)

Thus, despite ongoing negotiations with Elon Musk, the final word on the issue of expanding the use of Starlink satellite communications in Ukraine remains with the American leader.
