The High Anti-Corruption Court (HAC) adopted a decision establishing the amount of damages caused to the state in the criminal proceedings against Myron Tykhovskyi, former First Deputy Prosecutor of Lviv Oblast. The total amount of losses confirmed by the court is 993,290 hryvnia. This figure is significantly lower than the over 1.6 million hryvnia previously cited in the indictment.
According to the case materials, the damages consisted of two main components. First, the contracting organisation "Quick-Service Plus" received payment of 602,950 hryvnia for doors and related works that were not actually performed or delivered. Second, an overpayment for office paper in the amount of 390,340 hryvnia was established.
The procurement of office paper was carried out through eight separate contracts. Each agreement had a value of up to 200,000 hryvnia, which allowed avoiding mandatory tender procedures. The suppliers were the company "OfficeMax Ukraine" and sole proprietor Kholod, who were linked to each other.
The case materials note that the suppliers' business has relations with the company "Romus-Poligraf". This structure is linked to Ihor and Romana Kholod, who are the parents of Yurii Kholod. Yurii Kholod holds the position of a deputy from the "Servant of the People" party and performs the duties of the Chairman of the Lviv Oblast Council.
Myron Tykhovskyi held the position of First Deputy Prosecutor of Lviv Oblast during Viktor Shokin's tenure as Prosecutor General. The criminal proceedings against him were closed in September 2024 following the death of the accused.
