Ukraine is preparing a systematic solution to find citizens who are not yet on the military register. As MP Fediienko notes, the government is considering the possibility of integrating data from several key sources to accurately identify such individuals.
According to information from the parliamentarian, databases from the State Tax Service and the Pension Fund of Ukraine are planned to be used to identify military-age men who are evading their duty. Data belonging to mobile operators is set to serve as a separate tool. Combining these resources will allow the authorities to form a complete picture of the number of individuals who have not registered.
Before introducing special restrictions for the identified citizens, they will be given additional time. According to Fediienko, the duration of this preferential period will be one or two months. During this period, military-age men will be able to voluntarily register for military service and fulfil their duty to the country.
If the specified deadline is missed, appropriate restrictive measures may be applied to such individuals.
