Ukraine is actively developing capabilities for conducting hostilities in near-Earth space. According to data from The Guardian, at least three tests of systems designed to intercept targets outside the atmosphere have already been carried out. "Oreshniks" are cited among the potential targets.

First steps towards a sovereign orbit

Among other things, the Ukrainian side has attempted to place its own sovereign satellites into orbit. This is aimed at creating independent communications infrastructure.

Launch of the Obria Nano spacecraft

A month ago, a successful launch of the Obria Nano satellite was achieved. This spacecraft is the first test unit within the framework of a future independent Ukrainian communications network.

Under current plans, the full network is to consist of approximately 245 satellites.
