The situation in the Vovchansk direction remains tense: Russian units are carrying out active offensive operations against Ukrainian defenders. However, according to military assessments, there have been no significant shifts on the front line so far. This was reported by Viktor Tregubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Group, on the "Army Media" TV channel.
According to Tregubov, the enemy is concentrating its efforts on advancing towards the settlements of Vilcha, Vovchansky Khutory, and Bilyi Kolodiaz. The highest number of combat clashes is recorded in these sectors. The military official noted that the adversary is still using the same routes for assaults as before.
Commenting on the current tactics of Russian troops, Tregubov emphasised that their attempts to advance in the specified directions are yielding no results. He compared this situation to a joke which, in his words, is not entirely appropriate, highlighting that the enemy's activity does not lead to real advancement.

They are actively trying, but they are attacking, in principle, along the same routes. There is a large number of combat clashes there. They are trying to break through towards Vilcha, they are trying to break through towards Vovchansky Khutory, they are trying to break through towards Bilyi Kolodiaz along the same routes, because the other geography did not allow it), the Joint Forces Group spokesperson stressed.
