US President Donald Trump once again drew attention to the name of his former presidential race rival, Kamala Harris, during his speech in Texas. The US leader deliberately altered the pronunciation of the name several times and added that Americans still do not have a clear understanding of how it is correctly pronounced.

“Kamela, Kumala, Kamala, Kumala — no one knows how to pronounce it correctly yet. I don’t know either,” the US leader noted.

In addition, Trump joked that US citizens allegedly easily remember Kamala's complex first name, but forget her simple surname — Harris.

These comments were made on 27 October during the President's speech in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas. At that time, Trump was campaigning for the Republicans ahead of the US Congressional midterms.
