Route of evacuees from Oleshky: path via Russia and Belarus to the border

Residents' movement route

Davyd Arakhamia, head of the "Servant of the People" parliamentary faction, released information on the current status of the evacuation of citizens from the city of Oleshky. According to him, the Ukrainian delegation is already escorting the evacuees towards the city of Anapa, located in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.

The further route involves a flight from Anapa to Homel in Belarus. After that, the group is to reach the Ukrainian border by land transport — buses.

Previously offered options

As noted, before the start of this stage, residents of Oleshky were presented with three options for resolving their status. They could choose to leave for Ukrainian-controlled territory, evacuate to Russia, or remain in the city.
