Consequences of the night attack in the city centre

The occupation administration appointed by the Russian Federation released information about a night strike on the central part of Melitopol. According to their data, the attack was carried out by Ukrainian drones.

As a result of the incident, which occurred on 26 October 2026, a building of a local higher education institution and an administrative building were destroyed. There are also reports of damage to several residential buildings.

Official position of the occupation authorities
