Mozilla Firefox may expose and sell user data

Mozilla has changed the terms of use for its popular Firefox browser, causing concern among users. The new terms state that any information entered or uploaded into the browser grants the company a "non-exclusive and royalty-free license" to use it. This means that Mozilla can now dispose of user data on its own terms.

Furthermore, a previous statement in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section, in which the company claimed it had never sold and would not sell user information, has disappeared. Previously, the answer to the question about data sales was a clear "No. We have never sold and will not sell." This fact attracted user attention and raised questions about possible changes to the privacy policy.
