Ihor Lastochkyin joins the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The well-known comedian published photos of weapons and his military ID, confirming his service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Popular Ukrainian comedian Ihor Lastochkyin announced his enlistment in the ranks of Ukraine's defenders. On his social media, he posted a photo of his military ID and weapons, accompanying the post with a brief but meaningful comment:

«Сложные времена рождают сильных людей! #одиниз4%» ("Difficult times create strong people! #oneof4%").

The phrase refers to statistics indicating that only 4% of Ukrainians are actively involved in combat operations.

Service in an elite brigade

In the comments to the post, a servicewoman from the 93rd Separate Mechanised Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar" noted that she has the honour of serving in the same unit as Lastochkyin.

The 93rd Separate Mechanised Brigade is known for its successful combat operations and is considered one of the most combat-capable units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
