Honda to launch new electric vehicle models

Japanese company Honda has announced plans to release new electric vehicle models equipped with the innovative ASIMO operating system. This system, developed for robotic devices, will form the foundation for future cars.

According to NHK, Honda Executive Director Katsushi Inoue stated that next-generation car models will use the ASIMO OS operating system, named after the company's famous humanoid robot.

Honda states that its electric vehicles will be equipped with Level 3 automated driving features. This means the cars will be able to perform most driving actions independently, minimising driver intervention.

In addition, the operating system will be integrated with artificial intelligence that will provide the driver with useful information, including nearby shops and vehicle charging stations.

The company also intends to compete with giants such as Tesla and Chinese automakers by offering more advanced software features for its electric vehicles.
