Central Election Commission member Pavlo Liubchenko has been actively increasing his assets amid the war, acquiring real estate, land and securities.

Real estate:
Over the three years of the armed conflict, Liubchenko has amassed a substantial list of property:

  • An apartment in Austria measuring 37 sq m, purchased for his son for 7.8 million hryvnia.
  • Two apartments in Kharkiv measuring 64 and 76.8 sq m.
  • A land plot of 68 hectares in Kirovohrad region.
  • A 2008 Honda Civic registered in his wife’s name. Notably, the car’s value in the declaration was understated by almost half.

Investments in securities:
Liubchenko is actively investing in government bonds. In 2023 alone, he:

  • Invested 6.25 million hryvnia in bonds.
  • Received income from bonds amounting to 2.3 million hryvnia.
  • In 2024, he partially redeemed bonds, earning a further 5.18 million hryvnia, and immediately reinvested 5.9 million hryvnia in new issues.

Savings:
As of the end of 2023, his financial assets were distributed as follows:

  • 154,000 US dollars.
  • 34,000 euros.
  • 280,000 hryvnia.

Liubchenko’s active financial activity raises questions against the backdrop of general economic instability and the difficulties faced by the majority of citizens during wartime.
