DeepState map update: advance on the Hulyaipole axis

The analytical project DeepState has recorded the advance of Russian troops in the Hulyaipole and Horky areas. This indicates the continuation of offensive operations on the Hulyaipole axis.

Previously, military expert Konstantin Mashovets reported that Russian troops had penetrated almost 20 km deep into the Ukrainian defence from the Hulyaipole direction. Overall, DeepState has recorded significant advances by Russian forces in this sector of the front over the past month.

Statements by Russian bloggers and distance assessments

Russian military bloggers claim an even deeper advance — as far as Omelnyk and Krasnyi Yar. According to their claims, the Russians are attempting to form an encirclement in the area of the village of Shyroke. Ukraine has not confirmed these reports.

According to Ukrainian data, Russian troops are 23 km away from the highway connecting Orikhiv with Zaporizhzhia. According to Russian maps, the distance is slightly more than 10 km.

Threat to supplies in Orikhiv

In the event of success, the advance could allow the Russians to disrupt supplies to the fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces located further south in Orikhiv.
