Activist Demyan Hanul killed in street in Odesa

A murder took place in the centre of Odesa: a person in military uniform shot activist Demyan Hanul, who was trying to flee. The incident occurred during the day, in front of numerous witnesses. 

According to local channels, two shots were fired. Hanul attempted to escape, but one of the bullets hit the activist in the head.

Local authorities intensify search for the perpetrator

In connection with the incident, the "Sirena" interception plan was activated in Odesa. Police immediately began searching for the killer, but his whereabouts remain unknown. All resources are being directed towards establishing the circumstances of the crime and locating the suspect.
