Bribe-taking customs officials detained in Dnipro

Today, thanks to a joint operation by the SBU and the military prosecutor's office, two heads of the risk analysis department for combating customs violations at the State Fiscal Service's Dnipropetrovsk Regional Customs Department were detained in Dnipro.

The officials were extorting a bribe from an entrepreneur in exchange for not obstructing or creating difficulties in the clearance of cargo.

Large sums of money in various currencies were found in safes.
