Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko killed in car crash, media report

Media reports have emerged claiming that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko tragically died in a road accident.

The tragedy reportedly occurred on the highway while en route to the capital. The presidential motorcade was allegedly returning from Alexandria when a collision took place between the minivan carrying the 60-year-old president and another foreign-made car.

Witnesses reportedly stated that the presidential vehicle flew into a deep ditch after the collision and rolled over several times.

It is reported that a young woman was driving the BMW. There is no information about her condition.

There is currently no official information regarding the death of the neighbouring country's leader.
