Three closed distilleries found operational in Chernihiv Oblast

In Chernihiv Oblast, tax police officers were informed that three officially closed distilleries, owned by the Ukrspirt concern, are still operating, naturally, illegally.

The three operational groups that arrived at the scene were unable to enter the premises. Moreover, unknown armed men wearing masks, carrying automatic weapons, met the tax officers and demanded that the law enforcement officers leave the factory grounds.

A special unit from the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived to assist the tax officers, after which the armed bandits fled. An investigation is underway, and law enforcement officers are searching for the unidentified individuals.

A large quantity of illegal products was seized on the factory premises.
