Ukrainian forces launch offensive in Kursk region

According to Russian war correspondents, Ukrainian forces have been observed advancing towards the village of Bolshoe Soldatskoye using armoured vehicles. Judging by the hysterical posts in pro-Russian Telegram channels, this “visit” came as a complete surprise to them.

▪️ Deputy Russian Defence Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov — the same figure who conducted negotiations during Prigozhin’s mutiny — has urgently arrived in Kursk.

▪️ According to Russian bloggers, the objective of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ operation is to seize the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. However, they claim this is merely a diversion, hinting at the possibility of a strike in another direction. Simultaneously, talk is intensifying regarding the preparation of defences on Belarusian territory.

▪️ Ukrainian soldiers are allegedly seen in published Russian footage moving towards the Sudzha–Kursk highway and the city of Kurchatov.
