Military commissariats catch draft dodgers through online dating

Rumours are spreading on social media that Ukrainian military commissariats (TCK) allegedly use dating apps to lure men onto "romantic dates", which in reality turn out to be meetings with military commissariat officials.

How does it work?

Users claim that fake profiles of women appear on platforms such as Tinder and Bumble, arranging meetings in public places. However, instead of the expected date, men are met by TCK staff to hand over a summons.

Reality or rumours?

Official TCK representatives deny using such methods, stating that this does not comply with the legislation.

It is not ruled out that this is yet another Russian information-psychological operation.
