Switzerland has expressed its readiness to host a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, the Le Temps newspaper reported, citing information from the country's Foreign Ministry.

According to sources, following the summit in Bürgenstock, Ukraine, Russia and the US regularly received information about the willingness to support any diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving peace.

However, Switzerland emphasised that it does not intend to initiate such a meeting.
