Sanctions unexpectedly lifted from lottery operators

It was reported today that the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) has introduced new sanctions against a number of Russian companies. However, several lottery operators were unexpectedly removed from the sanctions list. Specifically, this concerns “M.S.L” and “Patriot”, which were accused of links with Russian oligarchs just a year ago.

It emerged that the company “M.S.L” is currently controlled by People’s Deputies Pashynskyi and Khomutynnyk, while “Patriot” is controlled by Novynskyi and Russian businessman Boyko.

It is worth noting that Pashynskyi is a long-time friend of Oleksandr Turchynov. Perhaps this is why the NSDC accommodated the deputies and quietly lifted the sanctions against the lotteries.
