Russia develops new air defence system to counter drones

Russian defence company Kalashnikov has developed a system designed to counter unmanned aerial vehicles, Russian media report.

According to sources, a new surface-to-air missile system (SAM) called "Krona-E" is set to be unveiled at an upcoming exhibition in late February.

It is worth noting that unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to Ukraine have recently been regularly and successfully carrying out attacks on targets located deep inside Russia, including oil refineries.
