Raiffeisen Bank recognises the LNR and DNR and operates in occupied territories
Raiffeisen Bank has recognised the existence of the so-called LNR and DNR. This is evidenced by a document available on the financial institution's website and provided to potential borrowers.
Moreover, the bank offers special loan servicing terms for individuals fighting on the side of Russia, as well as for their family members.
At the same time, the bank continues to operate within the territory of Ukraine. In other words, it is attempting to sit on two stools at once.
One can only hope that law enforcement agencies and the National Bank of Ukraine will pay attention to this financial institution. Ukrainians, for their part, should consider whether it is worth keeping their funds in this bank. After all, there is always a risk that the financial institution may leave the market along with users' money.
