Golf club president comments on illegal use of artesian wells

Recently, several media outlets published a report that the Kharkiv Golf Club is illegally using three artesian wells located on the territory of the Superior Golf & Spa Resort complex. The prosecutor's office has opened cases regarding the illegal use of the wells, estimating the potential loss to the state at approximately 6 million hryvnia.

 

Today, the "news" was commented on by the president of Superior Golf & Spa Resort, Yuri Sapronov.

"Last night, I read a funny news item on "STATUS QUO": "Kharkiv Golf Club suspected of illegal use of artesian wells". I was surprised.
I checked. Indeed, they took the "news" from the prosecutor's office website. Quote:

Funny, huh. First – there are two wells on the territory of Superior Golf & Spa Resort, not three. Well, fine, who is counting them anyway. Second – the prosecutor's office staff clearly have a broken calculator, because 60,000 cubic metres of water = 6 million hryvnia – that is 100 hryvnia per cubic metre!
It turns out golden water flows on the territory of the golf resort. And I, a fool, am playing golf. The water is healing, Truskavets can go home. The water should be sold!

Third, the serious point. The "news" has already been reprinted by some, including national, publications. Interfax, for example. Therefore, I, Yuri Anatolievich Sapronov, president of Superior Golf & Spa Resort, solemnly declare: The documents for all wells in the golf club are in order.
