Detained DNR resident staged a circus for Russian media

A prisoner exchange between Ukraine and the LNR and DNR took place a few days ago. Some details of this exchange have now become known. Yaroslav Markevych described how one of the detained terrorists staged a scene for Russian media.

«Сегодня я встречал вернувшихся из плена трех донбассовцев. Один из них — мой друг. Они попали в плен в Илловайске, еще летом. Террористы вначале били их и почти не кормили, а когда стало понятно, что их можно будет обменять, — начали нормально кормить и даже давали витамины. При Советах тоже так с пленными поступали — показывали гуманизЬм. Сталин умер, но дело его живет.

(English translation: "Today I met three Donbas residents who returned from captivity. One of them is my friend. They were captured in Ilovaisk, back in the summer. The terrorists initially beat them and barely fed them, but once it became clear they could be exchanged, they started feeding them properly and even gave them vitamins. They treated prisoners the same way under the Soviets — showing off their 'humanity'. Stalin is dead, but his legacy lives on.")

Я это к чему: когда происходил обмен, пленный террорист шел нашим ребятам навстречу босиком, надев на одну ногу перчатку (!), бедная сиротка. Террористы, увидев это жалкое зрелище, начали кричать: "Вот, укропы, как вы с пленными обращаетесь! Мы с вами так не поступаем!", в общем, картина маслом.

Besides this, he said that our guys had lost a lot of weight during their captivity, their new uniforms were too big for them.

 

«Остаться у нас даже на один день отдохнуть они не захотели — спешили поскорее вернуться в свою часть. Я их отправил на своей машине. Сейчас они уже благополучно добрались до места назначения. Они очень по-боевому настроены.
Для себя я сделал из сегодняшнего дня вывод: если ребята после _полугода_плена_ ТАК настроены, мы вообще не имеем права раскисать. Надо собраться и делать каждый день больше, чем можешь для победы. Вместе победим!», - добавил Ярослав.
