Passengers of plane that collided with helicopter are Russian figure skaters

Confirmation from the United States Figure Skating Association

A group of Russian figure skaters was reportedly on board the passenger plane that collided with a military helicopter in Washington. The United States Figure Skating Association confirmed this information.

However, it should be noted that not all of these athletes were Russian citizens by passport. In other words, some of them had already acquired US citizenship.
